Quick Update

I've had some questions about what I'm working on right now, and since it's been forever since I posted, I thought I would let everyone know what's going on.

Where do I start? First, I'm working on a novel that I started writing before I wrote Promise Me Darkness. It is one that I put aside when Maddie and Ryder started consuming my mind, demanding that I spend every waking moment on them. The new novel is not related to EMPs or an end-of-the-world scenario but it is different in its own right. I can't wait to share it with everyone and hope readers love the characters as much as I've come to love them. I do not have a release date yet but will post as soon as I know more.

I'm also working on Cash's story from Promise Me Darkness/Light. Yeah!!! I'm so excited to write his book because I really love him (after Ryder, of course). You'll get to read his take on the war and surviving the EMP. I really can't wait to release this one. I've had many requests to write books for the other characters and I'm happy to say that it will happen. No release date on Cash's story but look for it in 2014.

Last but never least, I'm also writing little 'shorts' for Eva, Brody, and Ryder. What does that mean? I'm writing some freebies that I'll post here on my website for these characters. Along with that, I will also release deleted scenes from Promise Me Light soon (if my current book characters give me one moment of peace!) I cut quite a bit in an effort to keep word count to an amount that wouldn't scare everyone but I want to share a few deletes with readers.

Whew! Did I leave anything out?

I do want to thank everyone for buying, loving, and reviewing Promise Me Darkness and Promise Me Light. Promise Me Light made the USA Today bestseller list but I was amazed to learn that Promise Me Darkness also made it for the second time! That just blew me away! I think I was speechless for a whole day (and thus made my husband's day.)

I'm off now to write some more. Until next time...
Paige
